THE winners of the OCT Wordsearch Competition were presented with their prizes by the Mayor of Monmouth, Cllr Richard Bond, and his Mayoress, Cllr Mrs Susan White.

The first four correct entries opened were sent in by Edward Johns, aged 12, from Trellech; Josh Merriman, aged eight, from Wyesham; Sophie Schandlinger, aged seven, from Monmouth; and Sophie Gibbs, aged nine, from Monmouth.

These eagle-eyed wordsearchers were presented with their prizes in the kitchen of Hardup Hall, home of Baron Hardup and his daughter Cinderella and her ugly sisters Lavertrina (known as Lavvy) and Potterina (known as Potty). Cinderella and her friend Buttons were on hand to help.

The competition, where contestants were required to find 24 words associated with that well loved pantomime Cinderella has an excellent response and Off Centre Theatre would like to thank all those who entered. They are sorry that so many people did not win a prize.

Whether or not you entered the competition Cinderella and Buttons would like to see you at the pantomime which is being presented at Haberdashers' Monmouth School for Girls from January 1st to 7th. If you haven't yet got your tickets hurry along to the Box Office at Monmouth Cycle Centre in Beaufort Arms Court where there are still some tickets left, or telephone the Box Office on Monmouth 01600 716388 to reserve some tickets and pick them up during the week.
