OSBASTON CiW school pupils have been promoting the benefits of Fairtrade by creating posters to encourage shoppers to choose environmentally friendly and ethically produced products.
The project began last September when pupils carried out a fair trade survey of local shops to identify businesses selling or serving fair trade produce. Using their research, students created posters which were given to businesses to display in their shop windows to help customers recognise where Fairtrade products were available.
This initiative aimed to raise awareness of the positive impact of buying fair trade goods, including supporting producers and encouraging sustainable choices.
Last week, the school celebrated achieving another Fairtrade award in recognition of its continued efforts to promoting fairness and sustainability within the community.
