The children and staff of Osbaston CiW School enjoyed a grand finale to their Book Week on Friday by dressing up as their favourite book characters. Throughout the week the children were immersed in a a variety of exciting book based activities including visits from local author Sam Hay and local artist Helen Williams. The school also raised £540 from a book fair which will allow them to refresh the class libraries with new books. The events were thoroughly enjoyed by everyone involved. Such worthwhile experiences are vital in nurturing children's love of books particularly in this technological age and at Osbaston staff are committed to maintaining the high status of books and inspiring children to read and write for pleasure.
