A GARDEN centre in Usk has celebrated the success of Team GB in the 2016 Rio Olympics in a golden gesture.

After the visit of Team GB cyclists Sir Bradley Wiggins, Ed Clancy, Steven Burke, Owain Doull and Mark Cavendish to Morris’s of Usk Garden Centre in the build up to the games, Tim Bishop painted the bench they were pictured sitting on to mark their success. The bench has been named the ‘Team GB Olympicnic Bench’ and features a plaque celebrating the visit.
