OLD Monmothians won the inaugural Wye Valley Fifteen15 Tri-Series title in an exciting cricket tournament at Monmouth Sports Ground.
The Old Boys bounced back from an opening-match defeat to Wormelow to overcome the Herefordshire outfit in the final.
Old Monmothians captain Tom Bevan, who co-organised the competition, collected the winners shield from Monmouth Cricket Club chairman Martin Newell.
Monmouth Cricket Clubs Cole McConchie won the Batsman of the tournament honour and Wormelows Alistair Main took the Bowling prize.
