It is fantasy to think that Boris Johnson can get Brexit done by the end of 2020.

Sajid Javid told Sky News at the weekend that the only way to get Brexit done and avoid a no deal exit was to vote Conservative. Well I am sorry Sajid, that is complete nonsense. The only MPs who have been campaigning for a no deal exit are those in your party. A sizeable number who consistently voted against your own government’s withdrawal bills.

If the current WAB is passed, one incidentally that Boris told the DUP a year ago that no self-respecting UK prime minister would ever vote for, the argument about our future relationship with the EU will continue and you Javid will be one of the people threatening the EU with a WTO exit at the end of Johnson’s impossibly short transition period if they do not concede to all our demands. That is not the right way to attempt a complex negotiation which will determine the wealth of the UK for a generation to come.

I am afraid that the only way to vote if you wish to leave with a sensible deal that secures our ability to fund the NHS and protects our wealth or indeed, if you wish to remain, is to vote tactically to ensure there is no conservative majority.
