My name is Matt, I'm 14 years old, and I'm a member of Teenagers Against Discrimination. I attend Caerleon Comprehensive School, and I'd like to think I'm more politically galvanised than other people in my school.
I joined a network via Facebook six months ago, campaigning for ageism to stop in its entirety. Since then, I've spoken to TAD's founder Jessica Robinson, and also had a chat with MP David Davies.
What angers me is that sometimes adults automatically think we're 'yobs' or 'chavs' because of something they've read or heard in the news. It's just a stupid generalisation that has been going around the media for a few years now.
