Inspector Mike Boycott, is settling into his new role as Neighbourhood Policing Inspector for the Monmouth and Abergavenny area.
A former Head Boy at Monmouth Comprehensive School, Inspector Boycott, 44, joined the Police Force 25 years ago as a Uniform Officer in Cwmbran. He was later promoted to Detective Sergeant, working in the Pill area of Newport and also in Cwmbran and Blackwood.
More recently he worked as a trainer in Learning and Development at the Force Training Department, during which time he was promoted to the rank of Inspector.
