SIR,

On Tuesday 10th July we, the Welsh Independent Party, met with the Highways Department at the Spar shop in Wyesham to discuss various issues in the area.

The Highways Officer was very constructive in his reactions to our proposals ie the housing development increasing the traffic to the existing roads, much of which will feed across an already congested Wye Bridge. It is already suffering structural damage due to excessive use.

No town councillors attended the meeting.

We will inform you of the officer's report when we ourselves receive it.
