Many readers may be pleased to know that the mystery man who considered himself more important than Usk town's first citizen Mayor of Usk Alec Leathwood, of the chairman of Monmouthshire County Council, at the wreath laying ceremony on Rememberance Sunday last year, was not a representative of royalty or a top serviceman.
He has been identified as an unelected Assembly Government candidate.
