On behalf of the Nelson Garden Preservation Group, I should like to thank the young people of the Savoy Youth Theatre, for their excellent performance of 'A Midsummer Night's Dream' in the Nelson Garden.

July 19th was a warm, breezy, Summer evening and around 80 people enjoyed the play, with its backdrop of the old walled garden, trees, flowers and the historic Pavilion. The young actors spent many hours in the Garden rehearsing, painting scenery and learning stagecraft.

I hope that this will be the start of a long and fruitful association, and this will become an annual event.
