A further 100 signatures have recently been added to the petition opposing proposals to site a livestock market at Little Castle Farm, Raglan, bringing the total number of signatures to in excess of 400.
Raglan Conservation Group, who welcomed some new members to a well attended meeting, say that the number of signatures is a clear indication that local residents do not want a livestock market on their doorstep. Members expressed concern that the village did not have the infrastructure to support such a development and are also worried about the problems of waste disposal from such a large complex.
