MEDICINE and Veterinary science offers have been secured by students at Haberdashers Monmouth School at some of the best universities for these courses in the UK.
Overall there were 27 university offers for medicine and veterinary science which were secured by the school
Some of the offers, including 22 offers to study medicine and five offers for veterinary science and 36 interviews are at some of the UK’s top medical and veterinary schools.
One of Haberdashers students, Tabby Prosser-Wrench has accepted an offer to study medicine at the University of Cambridge.
“I was absolutely thrilled when I found out I had an offer to study medicine at Cambridge; it still has not fully sunk in yet.”
“I feel very lucky, and I am really excited to start this new chapter.”
Veterinary science applicants have seen more success to other destinations like the university of Bristol and the University of Surrey.
Students at Haberdashers Monmouth School have an opportunity to take part in a medics, dentists and vets programme offering an array of pathways.
The workshop offers: personal statement workshops, clinical and veterinary work experience, UCAT/ BMAT exam preparation and mock interviews with NHS professionals and admissions tutors.
