BUSINESSES and schools across Monmouthshire supported the British Heart Foundation's Ramp up the Red campaign last Friday (7th February).
The campaign was set up to encourage people to wear red in order to raise money for people across the country with heart conditions.
The British Heart Foundation shop in Monmouth was visited by MP David Davies. He said: "Wearing red is not something I usually do, but I am absolutely delighted to support this great cause."
Youngsters at Puddleducks nursery in Raglan and Sticky Fingers nursery in Pen-y-Clawdd also dressed up for the occassion.
Young Ella Goodridge (pictured) and mum Vicky were particularly keen to back the charity campaign after the support they recieved following Ella's heart surgery.
"We just want to thank the British Heart Foundation. I don't know where we would be without their support," said Vicky.
