Monmouth Town Council handed out cheques of up to £750 to groups qualifying for their Community Grant Scheme on Monday night (17th Nov-ember).

The successful groups were: Monmouth Music Theatre; Kids Cancer Charity Monmouth; Monmouth Life Saving Club; Ross & Monmouth Sea Cadets; Monmouth Bereavement Support Group; Mon Detachment Gwent & Powys Army Cadet Force; Monmouth Tea Dance; Wyesham Christian Fellowship.

Monmouth Women's Festival; Shopmobility Monmouth; Monmouth Cricket Club; Busy Bee toddler Group; Homestart; Bridges Community Centre; Savoy Youth Theatre also received grants towards their submitted schemes.
