THIS year’s Monmouth Music Festival brochure was released last Saturday revealing the lineup as it was displayed in Agincourt Square.

The nine day festival is busy as usual with a diverse range of acts appearing every night.

Some of the highlights include English folk group Skinny Lister, rock bands the Houndogs and 4th Street, cover band Britpop Reunion and The Ronaldos.

Celebrating the launch of this year’s brochure were the designers of the new t-shirt and festival poster, Hamish Lawson and Tom Cavilla seen with Mel Ralph, Festival Co-Chairperson.

Launch day saw a flurry of activity as eager volunteers circulated the brochures to businesses throughout the town, ensuring that everyone will have the opportunity to pick up a copy in advance of the launch night on 22nd July.

In this year’s brochure there is an innovative pull out festival calendar so that festival goers can take the whole itinerary with them throughout the event.

“This year’s brochure has been well received and received lots of good feedback so far, not just on the quality of the print but also on the new pull out calendar” said Mel Ralph, co-chair.

“Our volunteers have already distributed thousands of copies. If you would like to help us now, during the festival or even volunteer for next year’s committee, then please get in touch either via our website: www.monmouthfestival.co.uk or via Facebook.

“All of the businesses who have supported us this year, through sponsorship or advertising, have been given one of our posters to display.

“Please support all those who have been supporting us and look out for the posters throughout the town. Large and small versions were made available for purchase.”

Also on sale at the stall were this year’s festival wristbands and the new look t-shirts.

Sales of both have got off to a great start. Both are limited edition so get in early, grab your souvenir and help keep the festival going.
