The following street closures will be in effect in Monmouth on Sunday (27th July) in conjunction with the carnival.

Monnow Street will be closed from the bus station to St John's Street between 6am and 6pm as the fair and stalls will be set up.

Priory Street, Agincourt Square and the top of Monnow Street (from Agincourt Square to the junction with St John's Street), will be closed between 6am and 3pm.

Carnival organisers are reminding locals to ensure that no vehicles are left on Monnow Street and Priory Street during this time.

Blestium Street and the lower part of Monnow Street will be closed to ensure the safe arrival of carnival participants onto the car park.

• For the duration of Monmouth Festival (25th July- 2nd August), Blestium Street will be closed from 8pm to midnight from the mini roundabout to the entrance of the bus station.
