Welsh Assembly Minister for the Environment Jane Davidson called in at the Usk Tapestry during a recent visit to Usk.

During her visit, the Minister met stitchers and committee members and added a stitch of her own. "This is absolutely beautiful", she said, as the detail of the design was explained to her by the stitchers. "It's extraordinary and so detailed."

Ms Davidson asked questions about the design process, and how the impressionistic design related to the various elements of Usk.
