SIR,

Megumi would like to express her sincere thanks and surprised astonishment for the Wyesham community action that brought together Wyesham Wanderers Football Club and Wyesham Playgroup to give of their time in clearing leaves in a local lane.

It was truly amazing to see so many juniors with brooms and shovels on such a cold morning.

We would like to thank Jason and members of the junior committee and Alan Cox, chairman of Wyesham Football Club.

Thanks also to David Cox and Michael Brockingshire, Elizabeth Hackett Pain and the mums and dads who were also involved.

Megumi will be returning to Monmouth after almost five years of hospitalisation this coming Christmas and hopes to thank everyone for their generous support to both her parents and the Megumi Trust following her accident.
