THE trial of a 23 year old man charged with death by careless driving has been postponed until next year.
The case at Worcester Crown Court was adjourned until February 1st 2016 after a witness was unavailable.
18-year-old Jack McKenzie (pictured) was the front-seat passenger in a Vauxhall Corsa involved in a collision with three vehicles – a tractor and another car – on 3rd September 2010.
The crash, which also involved a Fiat Punto and a John Deere tractor, happened at about 11.30pm on the B4348, about two miles out of Kingstone heading towards Peterchurch.
Mr McKenzie was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the car Mr McKenzie was a passenger in, Joel Jones, of Chapel Bungalow, Abergavenny was taken to hospital with spinal injuries.
He denies the charge of causing death by careless driving.
