When members of Monmouthshire County Council next honour Monmouth by holding a meeting in the Shire Hall, may I suggest a brisk preliminary walk taking in The Burgage, Dixton Close and The Gardens so they may ponder on the fruits of the Planning Committee's decisions.

On the way back they might cast a glance over Vauxhall Fields from Priory Street.
