I would be grateful if I could inform your readers of two major fundraising events that will take place in the near future. Both are being held in aid of the Mayor's Charities.
On Thursday 25th February, the Mayor's Showcase Spectacular will take place at the Monmouth Haberdashers' School for Girls, starting at 7pm. There will be a limited amount of tickets for sale on the door, but it would be advisable to secure seats by purchasing beforehand from the museum in Priory Street, or from Posies on St Thomas Square.
On Sunday 21st March, the Raduni Brasserie Indian Resaurant in Monnow Street will kindly serve a three-course menu for £9.95 per person. More information on how and where to buy tickets will be available shortly.
I am extremely grateful for the generous way in which the people of Monmouth have supported my fundraising efforts so far, and I sincerely hope they will continue to do so over the coming weeks.
