A Monmouthshire man appeared in court last week charged with distributing and possessing child pornography.

Victor Bignell appeared in Cwmbran Magistrates Court last Wednesday (10th August).

The 72-year-old has been charged with 23 offences relating to the distribution and possession of indecent photographs or pseudo photographs of children and the possession of extreme pornographic images.

No plea was entered and he was granted unconditional bail.

Mr Bignell, of Norton Skenfrith, has been committed to appear in Newport Crown Court on 1st September.
