SIR,

Hooray, six Beacons are here to read, delivered by my sister-in-law's fair hand. Now to read all the news and most of all the Welsh debate letters, a subject close to my heart.

When we come home for a visit, sadly no Welsh flag proudly flies from the Shire Hall, perhaps because of people like Mr RW Bradley.

Mr Bradley seems a very sad man not to enjoy the beauty of spoken Welsh.

Let him come to Swindon and walk through the town centre, he will not hear Welsh or much English but six or more other languages.

I would love to hear the music of Welsh spoken.
