A Ross voluntary group has attracted £9,600 of lottery money into the town. Ross-on-Wye Town Plan Group, (RoWToP) Ross' community planning association, applied for lottery money to fund their consultation work with residents. They heard on July 14th that their application had been successful. Jo Lane, the group's publicity officer, said: "This is great news for the town and a brilliant confidence boost for the group and more importantly, all Ross residents. We never expected to get this much funding! "We can now crack on with our community consultations, including a 'Planning for Real' event. "It's time for everyone who cares about Ross to get involved.
