PENALLT SPORTSWOMAN Cerys Evans, aged 19, has recently returned from Delhi, where she participated in the Commonwealth Shooting Championships.
Shooting Olympic Skeet alongside Elena Allan for Team Wales, Cerys and Elena began the medal haul with a Bronze position in the Ladies Skeet pairs, narrowly loosing gold by five clays from England. This was a credible performance as Cerys lost six clays due to her gun malfunctioning on the second round.
