MORE than 100 people attended the official launch of Llantilio Crossenny Millennium Book, held at the Hostry Hall, Llantilio Crossenny, on Friday. Among the guests was Monmouth MP Huw Edwards.
Compiled by the Llantilio Crossenny Millennium Committee, headed by Cllr Colin Phillips and licensee Mike Parker, the book shows a snapshot of the community as it is now at the turn of the century: the people who live there, the farms and houses, churches and pubs and the events which make up the community life, together with some fascinating glimpses into the community's past.
The A4 hardback book in full colour has sold out the first print run of 200 already, at £30 per copy, although extra copies may be obtained by contacting the Hostry Inn.
