SIR,

The Conservatives removed two local, loyal candidates because of their objections to the LDP by putting the local town branch on a so-called 'temporary suspended status', making it possible for the people in Usk to select their own man, namely Simon Lane.

Well he did not get in, as I predicted in the Beacon 18th April.

Let this be a lesson to the members of Usk to listen to the Monmouth Conservatives and not to treat loyal, lifelong Conservatives so abysmally again.

Do not forget David Davies MP, I also warned you to watch your seat at the next election.

JK Jones
