MADAM,

To whoever took down the banner and poster off the railings at Haberdashers Monmouth School for Boys for Monmouth Music Theatre Youth’s production of Into the Woods please we have it back.

This talented group of youngsters and a whole host of enthusiastic volunteers who scrimp and save every penny to put on affordable opportunities for the young of the town to perform musicals of quality don’t understand the actions of a jobsworth.

People are quick to criticise youngsters for their lack of initiative and commitment and maybe this and their enthusiasm caused it to be put up in the wrong place for the bureaucrats but am hoping that common sense will prevail and someone will return this costly piece of publicity back to its rightful home.
