The Ladies Section at Raglan Parc Golf Club hosted a fund raising tea party on behalf of The Eve Appeal, which funds research to enable better understanding, prevention, detection, treatment and care of women with ovarian cancer.
Each year in the U.K 6,600 women are diagnosed and 4,400 die from this disease.
Over 100 people attended the tea party held at the Golf Club on Monday 10th August. People came from other clubs in the area bringing friends and relatives. All the cakes were made by the ladies section and their friends, who along with local businesses donated a wonderful display of raffle prizes.
