PUPILS from Haberdashers' Monmouth School for Girls have had a highly successful start to the lacrosse season, winning their first double at the West of England and South Wales lacrosse championships.
The first team have an unbeaten record to date and are currently holders of the South Wales Rally Cup and are West of England champions.
The second team have made an excellent beginning by winning the Second Team Trophy in the South Wales rally.
These wins are a clear demonstration of how highly committed and motivated the teams are, which bodes well for the rest of the season.
