SIR,

Last week I walked into the town centre and was surprised and delighted to see the knitted bunting around the finger posts at either side of the Shire Hall and across the front of the Shire Hall.

It really brought a smile to my face (well done the knitters). You could almost see the building smiling back.

Having worked in the old library at the Shire Hall for many years, the building holds lots of happy and a few sad memories for me.

Glad to see it is now becoming the happy place it once was.
