SIR, In support of the letter from Malcolm Butcher, as a former Town player myself from the same era, I would suggest that now is the time to build on the success that the players and management have achieved by developing local players for local supporters to watch. Who will go to Abergavenny? The 'Thursdays' virtually no longer exist because they cannot attract local players. The Kingfishers will most likely go the same way in the future if they move.
