Hello for the last time.

Monmouth Town Council's Diamond Jubilee Picnic in the Park is on Monday 4th June on Chippenham Mead from 2pm until 8pm.

Bring a picnic, a chair and a cup for the free tea, cake and biscuits and you can enjoy all the entertainment available throughout the day.

"Monmouth's Got Talent" is at 4pm with 1st prize at £50, 2nd is a meal for two and 3rd is a bottle of wine or sweeties if under 18. Just come and take part.

At 10.15pm a beacon will be lit on the Kymin, one of many across the country to celebrate the Queen's 60 years as Monarch and what a wonderful Queen she has been.

The best view of the Monmouth beacon will be from Chippenham Mead so come along. See you there. Regards to you all.

A special message to all Monmouth youngsters;

Make a crown at home and wear it for the Jubilee Musical Picnic in the Park celebrations on Monday 4th June. At 3.15pm we shall judge your crowning glory and give prizes for effort. See you all there and happy crowning.
