SIR, There will be a Filipino-British disaster fundraising event evening to assist in the humanitarian cause of those in the outer regions in the Philippines affected by recent devastating weather conditions. The Filipino parishioners of Our Lady and St Michael's RC Church, Abergavenny have joined together in assisting those affected and are displaying an evening of South East Asian cuisine at the St Michael's Centre Pen Y Pound on the Friday 26th September at 7pm. There will be filipino national costume and live entertainment. I wish to thank the parish for their support to date. Tickets are £10 per person and the event is limited to 50 tickets.
