James Arborne, Head Chef at the Bridge at Wilton, was on hand to help teachers at the John Kyrle High School on Saturday complete a challenge which was filmed by Teachers TV as part of a Comic Relief series. Teachers' TV, the education channel, filmed the teachers from John Kryle for a new adventure series being produced to support next year's Comic Relief campaign. In The Big Cook, teachers from John Kryle were challenged to cook a range of delicious dishes which they created at the Bridge with help from James and then they had to sell them all at the market on Saturday. James accompanied the production team to morning assembly at JKHS where they selected three teachers who returned to the Bridge. The teachers were given a small budget and had to use local produce to create delicious dishes which then all had to be sold by 1pm on Saturday to meet the challenge. The series will be broadcast on Teachers' TV to co-incide with Red Nose Day 2007.
