Chepstow Festival of Arts will fill the town with exhibitions and events from the historic town arch all the way down to the riverside on Saturday July 16 from 9.30am to 4pm.
There will be inspirational displays of pictorial art, photographic art, floral art, crafts, sculpture, performance, and music.

As part of Chepstow Festival of Arts, visitors can help turn the railings along Church Walk by St. Mary’s Priory into a glorious, recycled, river of fabric and creative art to show how much we all love our precious River Wye.
Why not get together with your friends, a neighbour or family members using their online video workshops, to turn old rags into sections of woven river?
There are activities to suit every age and ability, and organisers can provide activity packs for groups in case you do not have enough fabric of your own.

Chepstow Festival of Arts is proud to announce their new Seal Trail will be part of the festival this July.
With so many Chepstow residents delighted to have Sammy The Seal swimming in their river, Chepstow Festival of Arts decided to commission 10 Sammy sculptures to create the Seal Sculpture Trail around Chepstow for the festival!
It doesn’t stop there… As part of the festival, there are many opportunities to have a go at getting creative.
Book a slot to make a Morph or Shaun the Sheep Claymation with the Aardman Academy, pick up charcoal and make a drawing of The Boatman in the High Street, young people will have a range of drop in creative activities on Priory Green, and in the Drill Hall creative workshops can be booked with professionals in many creative fields.

‘‘This event and activities leading up to the festival brings people together doing some form of informal or formal activity and at the forefront of it is having fun together.
