You may have heard the radio programme on Radio 4 "Against the Ropes with Michael Buerk. Amongst the people interviewed was Canon Gideon Byamagisha. He was the first clergy person to admit to the world he was HIV positive. Since that time he has travelled around the world telling his story and telling his story of hope.

Uplifting and inspiring are the words that spring to mind when describing Gideon. If you would like to hear him in person he will be in the Old Court Hotel on Sunday the 30th of September in Whitchurch at 11.00am, admission is free with a collection.
