In memory of Martin - top concert at Ross Live!

One of the most popular shows on the programme for Ross Live! will be a concert in memory of Martin Morris MBE the Chief Reporter at the Ross Gazette for over 40 years, who died recently.   Mr Morris was a highly respected and popular figure – both locally, and in wider journalistic circles.  His family will be attending the concert on August 5th given by the New Rope String Band, which is made up of highly skilled musicians, playing an assortment of hoedown pan-celtic, old- time, up-beat music. As a taste of the treats to come shoppers at Labels Outlet Shopping, Ross, will be greeted with live music on Saturday, July 21st, when the string quartet will be performing at the store from 12 noon - 2.30pm - before this years Ross Live Festival begins on Saturday, August 4th, and runs until Tuesday 14th.
