Students and staff at Chepstow School are today (August 18 2022) celebrating an impressive set of A-level results.

Pupils have shone in the first set of external examinations to be taken since the beginning of the Covid pandemic with 98 per cent achieving three or more Level 3 qualifications and a remarkable 26 per cent of students achieving 3 A-levels at grades A* or A.

Students have been well supported to take their next steps with 95 per cent having been accepted into a university course of their choice.

Particular successes include:

Patricia Moreno-Gonzalez who achieved 2A*, 3As and 1 B grade. Patricia will now pursue a degree in Liberal Arts at Durham University.

Rhiannon Craig achieved 4A* and is going on to studying Medicine in Nottingham Isabelle Tuck has achieved 4A* and is pursuing Mathematics in Birmingham

Abbie Morgan achieved A*, 2As and 2 Bs and is attending Plymouth to undertake a course in Illustration

Evie Nigro - 2A*, 2As and a B and is pursuing Midwifery in Manchester

Olivia Bell obtained 4As and will study Psychology in Liverpool

Grace Hall - obtained 2A*, 2As and is going to Bristol, UWIE to undertake Child Nursing

Sean Mee has achieved 2A*, 1 A and will attend Glasgow University to study Mechanical

Engineering with Aeronautics

Owen Crundwell 4A* will be going to University of Southampton to undertake a degree in Civil Engineering

Christian Davies is pursuing Animal Care at College Gwent
