A Monmouth couple have cycled from London to Paris and raised £3,900 for a cause close to their hearts.
Huw Thomas-Hewartson has Type 1 diabetes and took on the challenge with his wife Rachel to raise funds for Diabetes UK.
Huw's condition cannot be prevented and is usually treated with insulin injections, but is now monitored with an insulin pump, which Huw wears 24 hours a day.
The pump constantly infuses fast-acting insulin into the body meaning that Huw, who has had the condition since he was nine, no longer needs injections.
Having the pump a year ago gave him the freedom to sign up to cycle from London to Paris.
