As part of the 50th anniversary of RHS Britain in Bloom, Usk in Bloom have accepted an invitation to host HRH Duchess of Cornwall on 3rd July. The Royal visit will celebrate the work of up to 300,000 RHS Britain in Bloom volunteers who work year round to improve streets and neighbourhoods in towns, villages and cities across the UK. HRH will be taken on a tour of local projects and meet Usk volunteers who over the past 33 years have done an extraordinary job keeping the town looking green, clean and beautiful. Chairman Tony Kear said: "We are extremely honoured and delighted to have been asked by the RHS to host the Duchess and welcome her to Usk. "This is a fantastic opportunity to present what Usk in Bloom has developed over many years.
