MADAM, While staying with my brother Fred and sister-in-law Pat on holiday in Cinderford, we made a visit to Monmouth on Friday 8th May. During our shopping trip we came out of a shop near the optician's to see a very kind lady in assistance with an elderly lady who had fallen. Then a young man promptly, without hesitation, assisted in helping this lady to her feet and making sure she was OK. I came away from Monmouth feeling very uplifted by this action of kindness. When I thanked him he said: "I could not, would not, walk by". This lad, my apologies if a young man, should feel very proud. Joan Walker (Kent)
