Following the success of two girls from Haberdashers' Monmouth School for Girls (HMSG) who last week rowed for GB, five girls have been selected to row for Wales. The five will row at the Home Countries International Regatta on the 25th and 26th July, competing against the best crews in England, Ireland and Scotland.  What makes their selection all the more remarkable is that three of the five girls have been selected to row at J18 level, aged just 15! Jo Hancock and Freddie Madler, who both won gold for GB racing as a pair, have been selected to row as the J18 pair and in the eight.  Both girls are just 15 and will row 3 years young! Ellie Dumoitier Rich, also 15, will race in the J18 quad. Hannah Tyers and Tina Battersby, both 17, will race in the J18 coxed four and the eight.
