HOME-START Monmouthshire, a small, local, independent charity are hoping you will come and help them raise funds by enjoying an afternoon stroll through the award winning Coronation Meadow at New Grove Farm, Trellech this Saturday (6th June) from 2pm to 4pm and partake of afternoon tea with some delicious homemade cake.

They have even arranged a marquee for your comfort, just in case of inclement weather. At £5 per head, you can either pay on the gate or contact Home-Start Monmouthshire by emailing: [email protected]">[email protected] or telephoning 01600 715608 for tickets.

The Coronation Meadows Scheme is the idea of HRH Prince Charles. A 2012 article in Plantlife read by the Prince brought to his attention the alarming number of meadows lost over the last 60 years across the country.

To help stop the continued loss of these amazing meadows he decided to save, preserve and create new meadows, a meadow in fact in every county, to help commemorate his mother's Coronation.
