MONMOUTHSHIRE County Council is seeking the views of local residents over plans to develop a site at Crick Road to the north-west of Portskewett.
The site – bordered by the B4245 and Crick Rd – has been allocated for residential and employment use in the council's adopted Local Development Plan, which provides for the development of around 285 homes, together with amenity open space and land (one hectare) for employment use.
The council is in the early stages of preparing a master plan to guide development, which will address matters such as design layout, access, pedestrian/cycle/vehicle routes, open space, landscaping and links to wider community facilities.
Public engagement events are taking place at the following venues:
Friday 15th May – Portskewett Church Hall from 4pm to 6pm
Tuesday 19th May – Caldicot Market from 9am to 12pm
Thursday 21st May – Portskewett Recreation Hall from 5pm to 7pm
Saturday 23rd May – Caldicot Leisure Centre from 10am to 12pm
The closing date for all engagement responses is 12pm on Friday 29th May.
Residents and organisations unable to attend can receive information and feedback forms from Archbishop Rowan Williams Primary School, and Caldicot Leisure Centre.
