It is understood that Monmouthshire County Council (MCC) is considering reducing the power of street lights.

I ask myself, does the council ever consider the severely visually impaired? We have to struggle with the lighting as it is.

And what about crime?

For many years I have saved the council thousands of pounds by doing their job – reporting failed lights.

Where is the respect?
