A charity Harvest Auction at the Warwicks public house in Llantilio Crosenny raised over £763 for the Welsh Air Ambulance.
Regulars rallied around with donations to support the cause and auctioneer Will Probert made sure the evening went along with a few laughs. Items donated included half a lamb, an iced Christmas cake and a pair of tickets for the Wales Scotland 6 Nations match which went for £180.
A micro scooter caught the eye of patron George Bull, who paid £55 for it.
Landlord Christine Dewfield said the evening went very well. “Everybody was really, really generous and we had a lot of fun raising the money for such a good cause.” Pictured with the representatives from the Air Ambulance charity are Christine Dewfied, with staff members Courtney Edwards, India Dewfield and chef Mark Edwards who made curry and chips for everybody on the evening.
