Monmouth Warriors entertained Berry Hill in the return fixture. There was added interest in the game for the Warriors Hamish Lindsay (pictured) as it was his last game before departing to live in Australia. Over the years Hamish has been a stalwart of the Warriors back line and has scored many memorable tries.

Monmouth forced Berry Hill to defend their line against the driving forward play of Sean McMahon, Dan Musselbrook, Nico McCord and Dan Edwards. The Warriors continued to have the majority of the possession and after a series of phases the ball was worked out wide to Hamish Lindsay, who went over for the first try. Fly half Max Davies broke clear in the Berry Hill twenty two, kicked ahead over the full back and won the race for the touchdown.

Despite the muddy conditions both teams were playing attacking rugby and a darting run by centre Max Senior led to a try under the posts for Morgan Paley. It was end to end rugby with Berry Hill playing their full part and it needed an outstanding tackle by the Warriors scrum half Ieuan Gale to prevent a certain breakaway try for the visitors. Just before half time flanker Joe Walters powered over for the Warrior's fourth try.

In the second half the Warriors continued to enjoy the majority of the possession with forwards Oscar Hughes, Josh Carpenter and Joe Bezani competing strongly at the ruck and maul. After a spell of sustained possession by the Warriors, prop Andrew Morgan kept up his recent try scoring form by driving over in the corner. With ten minutes remaining a scything run by centre Dan Dunmore, allied to quick ball from the ensuing ruck, led to Hamish Lindsay completing a fitting finale to his Warriors career by scoring his second try. In the final minutes Berry Hill were camped on the Warriors line and they only just failed to score the try their endeavours richly deserved. The final score was 32 – 0. Warriors Coach Lloyd Davies was pleased with the support play of his Team and singled out Hamish Lindsay, Morgan Paley and Andrew Morgan for Man of the Match awards.
