POLICE searching for a man missing for over two weeks with connections to Coleford and Ross-on-Wye are asking the public to look out for a car that he could be driving.

The 37-year-old missing man from Gloucester, only named as Lewis by Gloucestershire Police, has not been in touch with family or friends since Sunday, May 25, and concern is growing for his welfare.

Following an appeal on Saturday( June 7), a number of sightings have already been reported to police.

A Gloucestershire Police spokesperson said: “Officers now believe he could be driving a grey Mini Cooper and are asking the public to look out for it.

“It is believed that Lewis may be in the Coleford area or has travelled to Ross-on-Wye.

“Lewis is described as being white, 5ft 10in in height, with blonde hair and a tattoo on his left arm.

“He was last seen wearing a long black quilted coat, grey trainers, a blue and black Arsenal football shirt, and either black or grey jogging bottoms.

“Lewis may not understand that people are trying to help him and the public are asked not to approach him but to instead call police with any sighting.

“Anyone with information on Lewis’ whereabouts is asked to call 101, quoting incident 410 of 6 June. If you can see Lewis at the time of phoning, please ring 999.
